A little pixel world,
made for one person.

You pick who it's for. We build them a small game with their name in it — their character, their dog, the places they love and the people around them, all in hand-drawn pixel art you can walk around in.

What you choose

Everything in it is about them

Seven small decisions, about five minutes. No writing to do — you pick from options and see a preview of each one as you go.

🙋

Them

Their name is on the title screen and in what everyone says to them. Add a message of your own, or let the occasion write one.

🎨

How they look

Hair and outfit colours, previewed on the real sprite. They can change their look in-game too, at the wardrobe.

🐕

Their dog

Name it, pick its coat. Stop and pet it once and it follows them everywhere, for the rest of the game.

🗺️

Where it happens

One to four places, joined end to end. The first one you pick is where the game opens.

🥐

Places they love

A café, a bakery, a bookshop, a gym, an art studio, a music venue. Each is a real shopfront they can walk into.

💬

People around them

Up to six friends or family, each with their own look and their own things to say.

🎵

A secret

Name a band they love and we hide one of its records in the world, behind some bushes. If they find it, they keep it.

🌙

The small stuff

Day turns to evening, lamps come on, fireflies drift over the grass. Butterflies, hens, neighbours out walking.

Places

Four worlds to build from

These are the actual maps — what you see here is what they'll be walking around in. Pick up to four and they'll join together, west to east.

The village map.

The village

Cottages with fenced front gardens along a lane, an orchard, and a cobbled square with a well and a market.

The beach map.

The beach

Palms and dunes above a promenade, parasols and towels on the sand, rowing boats hauled up past the tide line.

The forest map.

The forest

Thick canopy with glades that open as you walk, a trail winding through it, and a clearing with a fountain at its heart.

The downtown map.

Downtown

A proper high street: shopfronts along an avenue, planted squares behind them, and a plaza with café tables.

How it works

Three steps, one link

You describe them

Fill in the short form — their name, their look, their pet, the places and people that matter to them. About five minutes.

The world gets built

Everything you chose goes into a real game: their character, their shops, their friends, their hidden record.

You get the link

Straight away, on the last page — one link that opens the game in any browser, on a phone or a laptop. Send it whenever you like.

See it for yourself

A finished example — a world built for someone called Ada. Walk around it, talk to people, find the shops, meet the dog.

Questions

The practical bits

Do they need to install anything?

No. It's a link. It opens in whatever browser they already have, on a phone, a tablet or a computer, and it saves their progress on their own device.

How long is it?

It's a place to wander rather than a game to finish — twenty minutes to see everything, and it's the sort of thing people come back to. There's a dog to pet, a fetch game, shops to go inside, and a hidden record to find.

Can it be in Spanish?

Yes. The whole game is written in Spanish or English — you choose when you order.

What does it cost?

Nothing at the moment. We're in beta and we'd rather have people playing them than money — so make one, and tell us what you think of it.

What if I get a name wrong?

Go back through the form and make another — it takes a minute and you'll get a fresh link. Or tell us and we'll sort it out for you.

Does the link expire?

No. There's no account behind it and nothing to keep paying for — save it somewhere and it'll still work. We keep your game running for as long as we run the shop, and if we ever had to stop we'd give you a month's notice and a copy of the game to keep.

Can anyone else open the link?

Anyone you send it to, yes — that's the point of a present you can forward. The address is random enough that nobody will ever stumble onto it, and it isn't listed or indexed anywhere. But treat it like a shared document link rather than something private.

What happens to the names I give you?

They go into the game and nowhere else. We store the game so its link keeps working, and we keep your own name and email so we can help if something's wrong — kept apart from each other, so someone forwarded the link learns nothing about you. No trackers, no ads, no cookies. Ask us and we delete all of it. The privacy notice spells it out.
